The adductor longus muscle of the thigh

The adductor longus is a large, flat muscle that partially covers the adductor brevis and magnus. It forms the medial border of the femoral triangle and originates from the pubis bone of the pelvis, expanding into a fan shape with a broad distal attachment along the linea aspera of the femur. Its primary action is adduction of the thigh.
